Submission Guidelines
Please do not submit, mail or email any submissions / material without prior consultation. Please do e-mail your brief descriptive query first, and if I am interested in seeing material, I will let you know soonest.
I am not accepting the following:
--Fantasy or Science Fiction novels
--Nonfiction (see Humor note below)
--Plays, screenplays, film scripts
To guide you a bit, some favorite authors of mine are John Irving, Anne Tyler, Amy Tan, Joanna Trollope, Donna Leon, Richard Russo, Sue Monk Kidd, Daniel Silva, Sarah Waters, and Oscar Hijuelos.
I am looking for wonderful novels where the reader can immerse themselves in. I am open to all kinds of subjects and genres, including novels about gender/sexuality, mysteries/thrillers, historical fiction, some women’s fiction, etc. I grew up for several years in Israel and so love books about the Middle East. Do note, however, that I tend not to follow trends, and so please don’t send me vampire material, etc.
Humor: I do like humor, and am open to receiving queries for humor books.
