Jacob Grant
Jacob (AUTHOR WEBSITE) is an author/illustrator working day and night in Chicago. He graduated magna cum laude from the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 2006, and worked professionally as a graphic designer for the following 5 years. During this time he pursued illustration whenever possible, patiently scheming a way to make it his day job.
In 2011 he took the leap focusing on a career as an author/illustrator and finishing his first picture book. It was fairly bad. After several attempts, his third idea became a book, and he’s working with Barron’s Educational Series to prepare Scaredy Kate for an early 2014 release. Jacob’s newest picture book, Blark!, was sold in 4 days to Feiwel & Friends / Macmillan, and will come out in 2015.
